Above Arrowtown

We left Queenstown and headed back inland. We'd wanted to go up the West Coast, but the weather wasn't good and we wanted to avoid snow as much as possible, particularly on high passes. We weren't actually all that successful, but more about that later.

Arrowtown is a cute little town we stopped in. Above it is a the Crown Range road, a "twisty turny" route that goes up and around and back down. Nancy was driving Ralph and it took us awhile to get up the road.

Saw this glider as we were on our way up.
